London-based-band The Temper Trap have just released a brand new video for the song “Fader” from their debut album Conditions released on Glassnote/Columbia.
The video was directed by Andy Huchison.

With hugely successful shows across the US this Fall, The Temper Trap have established themselves as one of the best live bands of the year.

The New York Times said, “The Temper Trap…plunged into anthems of self-discovery with the martial drive of U2, vocals heading for falsetto and instrumental buildups that were clearly aiming for arenas.”
The New York Post added, “The band’s music is atmospheric, approaching grandeur…This band is on the cusp of fame.”
While the band’s infectious songs are picking up traction at modern rock radio, “Sweet Disposition” is making waves on television.
Popular CW series, One Tree Hill featured the song on November 30th and MTV have named The Temper Trap one of their Discover & Download artists.
Additionally, The Temper Trap will host MTV2 Subterranean on Wednesday, Dec 2, 2009.
The Temper Trap will return to the US in 2010.
While the U.S awaits the band’s arrival, The Temper Trap travelled to their native Australia for the 2009 ARIA Awards (Australian GRAMMY) on November 26. The Temper Trap performed at the show and were nominated for four awards, in the categories of Album of the Year (Conditions), Single of the Year (”Sweet Disposition”) and Breakthrough Artist and Rock Album of the Year.
The band will also be on tour with Florence and the Machine in the UK throughout December.
